25+ Awesome Activities for Kids

LEGO Bricks
Backyard Party Ideas
LEGO Stem Activities

What a crazy week we have all had. My boys are home for the next several weeks or longer. I started this blog because my younger two boys are immuno-compromised, but I didn’t want their illnesses to stop us from celebrating every opportunity we could. So, we are taking COVID-19 pretty seriously. And, even though my boys are older now, I know that it is darn near impossible to keep your sanity while keeping your kids occupied, and work from home. So, I gathered up 25 awesome activities for kids to do at home from my blog. And, I am sharing several more awesome ideas from friends at the end of the post too!

DIY Snow

If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.

Things to do with kids

For us, it’s super important to keep everyone at home in order to keep my boys healthy. So, I have been scouring the web and Pinterest to find things for the boys to do that aren’t video games and time on their phones. (They will still have that time too) I also don’t want my stress to affect them too much, so we are going to be as laid back as possible right now.

Sensory Activities for Kids

I gathered up some of my favorite sensory activities for kids, but they are great stress relievers for adults as well!

DIY Mermaid Sand

This is a great project for the kids to make, and most of the ingredients can be found at home or easily ordered from (affiliate link) Amazon!

Easy Recipes Any Kid Will Love

All of my boys love to experiment with recipes in the kitchen. I have always encouraged them to try new foods and recipes.

Homemade Gummy Candy

Homemade Gummy Worms

This recipe will take a little more planning than most of my recipes…simply because I used my (Amazon Affiliate Link) Gummy Candy Maker from Nostalgia Electrics. You could easily use silicone molds, but, Gummy Candy Maker is a lot more fun!

Crock Pot Caramel Dip

Caramel Dip Recipe

This is totally not a real recipe, but it is super cool to put a liquid into the crockpot and get a delicious semi-solid treat a few hours later.
