LEGO Engineering STEM Day

Lego Engineering STEM Day. We have had so much fun hosting a weekly STEM day with our friends and family. So far, the overall favorite has been LEGO STEM days. I keep a bucket of LEGOS in the great room all the time…it helps keep my sanity…ish. I recently ordered a LEGO Engineering book to use for rainy day fun with the kids, but I pulled it out for STEM day when we had a small group of kiddos come over.
This book is PERFECT for rainy day, mom needs a time out, solo, or group play! The kids made see saws, catapults, and even created their own machines.
The kids played with LEGOS for hours and hours, quietly building and playing. 
This would be an amazing party activity for older kids, and Oriental Trading has a ton of awesome LEGO Party Supplies as well as the LEGO Chain Reactions book set.
