Little Loves Valentine’s Day
Little Loves Valentine’s Day. Some days I have the very best job in the world. I get to work with amazing brands, and every so often a truly gifted photographer. This week included one of those days, and I am head over heals in love with what we were able to create and capture.

Little ones that don’t to day care or pre-school every day often miss out on some of the class party fun, and I wanted to share a way to celebrate little loves with a {slightly} untraditional play date. This was one of the easiest play date set ups EVER, and was so.much.fun. We decided to have a little get together at one of our local parks. This park has over 20 vintage homes and buildings filled with decor and items from the era of the building. One of our favorite old buildings is the general store. It has a service station in the back with a vintage gas pump, old mechanic’s tools, and even old Ford trucks. You can buy Coca-Colas in glass bottles from an antique ice box, and play checkers on the porch if you want. It’s an amazing place to wander with kids of all ages.
The first thing I did for our play date was order vintage style MOM heart tattoos from Oriental Trading Company. I wanted to tie into the vintage vibe of our play date location, and make it fun for the kids. On the morning of the play date, I gathered up some of my Coca-Cola crates {made by Crates and Pallet} and empty glass Coke bottles, the temporary tattoos, and my niece, and we went off to the park.
Once we got to the park, we put the MOM heart tattoos on the kids arms, stacked the Coca Cola crates near the gas pump and shot a few pics of our sweeties. But, everyone knows a little boy’s true love is their mom, so I snapped a few pics of my friend and her little one together.
After we snapped a few pics of the little ones, we explored the park. The kids LOVED it, and I am so in love with the photos we captured of our little loves!
