Simple Peach Shortcake Recipe
My favorite thing about this simple shortcake recipe is that you don’t need any special tools or skills to make it! Of course, you can make the cake from scratch, but you don’t have to! But, you will need is a good set of knives to slice the peaches and a mixing bowl to mix the peaches and sugar. (I linked my favorites from Amazon)
- 1 Storebought Pound Cake You can make your own too
- 4 Fresh Peaches Washed and sliced
- 1/4 C Sugar
- 1/4 C Water
Wash and slice your peaches into small bite sized cubes, and place in mixing bowl
Pour water and sugar over the peaches to make a syrup and sweat the peaches.
Slice the pound cake.
Scoop peaches onto pound cake slices and serve with whipped cream
After you make the shortcake, mix up some homemade whipped cream with this Bourbon Whipped Cream Recipe and enjoy!
