If you follow the blog, you know I share several new peach recipes every summer. We typically buy peaches from The Peach Truck. This summer we got those and some while we were in Georgia. I really can’t get enough peaches during Peach Season.

Simple Peach Shortcake Recipe
My favorite thing about this simple shortcake recipe is that you don’t need any special tools or skills to make it! Of course, you can make the cake from scratch, but you don’t have to! But, you will need is a good set of knives to slice the peaches and a mixing bowl to mix the peaches and sugar. (I linked my favorites from Amazon)
Peach Shortcake
Ingredients
- 1 Storebought Pound Cake You can make your own too
- 4 Fresh Peaches Washed and sliced
- 1/4 C Sugar
- 1/4 C Water
Instructions

Wash and slice your peaches into small bite sized cubes, and place in mixing bowl

Pour water and sugar over the peaches to make a syrup and sweat the peaches.

Slice the pound cake.

Scoop peaches onto pound cake slices and serve with whipped cream
