Fresh Peach Salsa Recipe

Nearly every year I order fresh Georgia peaches from The Peach Truck. We didn’t this year because we just drove through Georgia and brought some home with us. But, imagine my surprise when my neighbor asked if I would like some of her Peach Truck peaches. How could I say no? However, what was I going to with all of these delicious fresh peaches? Of course I decided to make all of the peach recipes, including this amazing Fresh Peach Salsa Recipe!

Our family loves salsa. We have made it for clients, we make it for parties, we make it because it’s a Monday and we want fresh chips and salsa with our Taco Tuesday dinner!

Fresh Peach Salsa Recipe

I have a metric ton of fresh peaches, and no real time to can them properly…so, I did what anyone would do, and I made all the peach treats this weekend. And, while they were all delish, the peach salsa recipe was the big winner! I think it’s because it was so fresh and light. So, it was the perfect treat for a warm Summer afternoon.

Peach Salsa Ingredients

Peaches
Onion
Tomatoes
Lime
Cilantro
Pepper
Pita Chips for dipping
Mixing Bowl (I just got this set on Amazon, and I love it)
Knives (We’ve had this set for a few years, and they are the best I’ve ever had)

Ingredients

3 Fresh Peaches
2 Tomatoes
1 Red Onion
1 Pepper We used a jalapeno pepper, but any spicy pepper will do
1 Lime
1/2 Bunch Cilantro This can be omitted if you don't like cilantro

Instructions

Wash and chop the peaches, tomatoes, onion, pepper, and cilantro.
Place all of the chopped ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Slice the lime, and squeeze the juice into the salsa.
Stir the salsa to mix all of the ingredients.
Refrigerate in an airtight container overnight. Then, serve with tortilla chips or pita chips.
