When I was a kid my mom used to laugh at me because I loved veggies so much. And, I still do! I don’t remember the first time I tried collard greens, but I loved them. For years I tried to find greens that were as good as they were the first time I tried them. So, I worked on recipes until I landed on this super easy collard greens recipe.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
BBQ Party Food
When I think of good southern foods, I immediately think of good bbq, smoked meats, creamy mac and cheese, and savory southern collard greens.
We can smoke meat, we make The Best BBQ Ribs, The Best BBQ Seasoning Recipe, and The Best Homemade BBQ Sauce. My mac and cheese is second to none…but I always longed for good southern greens.
Greens Recipes
Nearly everyone’s southern granny has a family recipe for good greens. My Mimi was a Yankee, and my grandma was from the MidWest…so there was no family recipe to share.
But, don’t worry, y’all…you can pretend I am that southern granny sharing a decades old family recipe for delicious greens.
