Apple Hand Pie Recipe. Y’all, I LOVE Apple Pie pastries…like, it borders on slightly ridiculous. I will eat any apple pie, fritter, donut, or treat placed in front of me, with.no.shame. So, I had these apples that needed to be used, and decided they needed to be used in an apple pie…but, I didn’t have ingredients for pie crust, so I made something even easier and better!
These apple hand pies are so easy to make, there is no excuse not to make them!
Shopping list for easy hand pies:
Fresh fruit or fruit pie filling
Canned Biscuits
Cinnamon
Sugar
Oil
These could not be easier to make, especially if you use pie filling, and you can easily make any flavored fruit hand pie.
This is our new favorite after dinner treat, and it is literally so easy anyone can make it!
Apple Hand Pie
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Apple Pie Filling
- 1 Can Biscuits
- 1/4 Cup Cinnamon
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Cooking Oil
Instructions
Heat oil in heavy pan over medium heat
Add 1 spoonful of Apple Pie Filling into 1/2 Biscuit and fold into a half circle
Fry for 2 mins on each side or until golden brown
Remove from heat, and dust with cinnamon sugar mix
