Guys, it’s HOT in Florida right now. And, I have been home with my entire family for eleventy-billion days in a row. So, I decided to make myself some Easy Alcoholic Popsicles. Because, if it takes more than 5 minutes of prep time at this point, I am just not going to make it.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Alcoholic Freeze Pops
We have a Costco membership, but I have NEVER seen the alcohol ice pops there.
And, with Disney Springs not being open, or even all that close, I couldn’t just run and grab a BuzzPop to enjoy.
So, what’s a mom to do?
Make Easy Alcoholic Popsicles
For real, these could not be easier to make! You do need to be aware of the alcohol content in the mixture or you won’t get a true popsicle.
One of my favorite drinks is bourbon and Coke. The bite of the bourbon, paired with the sweet Coke, yum! So, I decided to try to make boozy popsicles out of one of my favorite cocktails!
Boozy Popsicle Ingredients and Supplies
I was able to use what I had at home to make these. If you have a popsicle mold, you could use that too. I have freeze pop bags, so that’s what I used.
- Bourbon
- Coke
- Amazon Link – Freezer Bags mine came with a funnel, but you may need to order that too.
- Amazon Link – Shot Glass
Begin by mixing a 12 oz can of cola in a glass with a shot of bourbon. Stir gently. You want to mix them together, but keep some of the carbonation.
Now, use a funnel to fill the freeze pop bags to the fill line.
Next, place the popsicle bags into a cup to hold them upright and place in the freezer overnight.
Finally, enjoy a delicious cool treat on a hot summer day! These would be great to share with friends too!
