Easy Cupcake Toppers

Party Cupcakes

Easy Cupcake Toppers

One of my favorite party hacks is to buy store bought cakes or cupcakes and embellish them with easy diy or inexpensive toppers.
Bite Sized Cupcakes
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional. These commissions help to keep the rest of my content free, so thank you!
Tiny cupcakes are my go to for parties because they are typically peanut safe, and really, who needs more than two to three bites of a cupcake?  However, as much as I love tiny cupcakes, they are kinda boring.
The first thing these tiny cupcakes needed was a colorful wrapper. They are so easy to make with my Cricut.
You could easily just wrap the cupcakes and call it done, but I wanted to add a little more!

Make the wrappers, polka dot toppers, and tiny party hats:

Supplies:

Cricut

Colorful Paper

Xyron Tape Runner

Open the cut files, and cut as many of each as you will need. {Party Hats, both large and small; Cupcake Wrappers}

Martha Stewart Cricut Explore Air 2

Wrap the wrappers around the cupcakes and secure with a little adhesive from the Xyron Tape Runner.

Polka Dot Toppers

These are SO easy to make! I used my Cricut to cut a variety of circles from colorful card stock paper, and simply stuck the circles on top of the cupcakes.

Add Polka Dot Toppers to the cupcakes. {You can secure the circle to a toothpick or simply place the circle onto the cupcake}

Tiny Party Hats

Guys!!! These could not be cuter!!! Again, I used my Cricut to cut the tiny hats and polka dots for them, but you could use a paper punch and scissors. Cut out the hats and use a Xyron tape runner to apply adhesive. Place the hats on the cupcakes for the cutest cupcakes on the block! {These are super easy to make, but they do actually require a few steps to make.}

Roll the party hats into a cone, and secure with more adhesive from the Xyron Tape Runner. Add adhesive to the tiny polka dots and randomly place on the tiny hats.

Flamingo Toppers

These tiny flamingos are the most adorable teeny figurines ever! I love them SO much! And if your Cricut is working overtime on other party projects, these are totally the way to go!!
