Cupcake party favor. I was recently sent a box of metal boxes from ClearSnap, and I was challenged to create several fun ways to utilize them for parties. I wanted to push myself to make five different ways to use these boxes for parties or events, and I am sharing a new way every day this week! 

My kids love to help me in the kitchen, so I was inspired to create an interactive favor box for today.

Shelf Stable Frosting 

Optional – Small Trinket

Begin by cutting various sized circles from bright colored cardstock, and run through the Xyron Creative Station to create stickers.

Pre-fill one Wilton Frosting Bags for each guest with about 2 spoonfuls of frosting. Tie it closed with a small piece of Baker’s Twine. Add a second bag to the box for each guest to use with the Icing Tip. {Alternatively, you could skip the icing tip, and just use one bag for each guest and instructions to cut the tip off the frosting bag and frost the cupcake without an icing tip}

Fill a small cello bag with sprinkles and tie with more Baker’s Twine. 

Place a small unfrosted cupcake in a second cello bag, and tie closed with twine. I could have baked these cupcakes myself, but in the interest of time, I bought small cupcakes from the grocery store and scraped the frosting off of each one. 

Finally, I added all the goodies to the boxes, and decorated each lid with colorful stickers, and secured it closed with quadruple wrapped twine. 

This is one of the easiest, and most fun favors I have ever put together! My niece has asked me to help her make similar ones for her upcoming 6th birthday!
