It’s nearly my favorite week of the Summer, Shark Week! And, we host a small (or large) party to watch it every year. And, I really love to style a JAW-some shark themed party any one would love!
Shark Party Ideas
I have hosted Shark Week viewing parties for years. And, I have been watching Shark Week since I was a kid.
Some of my favorite shark parties were also for my nephew’s Summer birthday. This Shark Week Birthday Party from several years ago is one of my favorites. I also really love this Shark Week Party too. I used my Cricut Explore Air to create most of the decor and kept it super budget friendly.
Shark Themed Party
This year for Shark Week, we will use our projector and watch from the pool or hot tub. But, of course we will have a decorated snack station.
I created a FIN-tastic shark banner and poster, you can find them in the shop, here. Use the code JAWSOME to download the bundle FREE! I had to have the poster printed at my local printer, but it was just under $25 for the poster and two copies of the banner on cardstock paper printed.
I used the poster as the backdrop against my white vinyl fence, and placed my DIY Folding Lemonade Stand in front of it. Next, I hung the banner across the front of the lemonade stand. I grabbed an old surf board and leaned it against the the table and fence.
Finally, it was time to start adding the food and tabletop decorations. Since we just snack while we watch Shark Week, I just filled the table with candy and grab and go snacks. This fun Shark Week Snack Idea, a small cake topped with a toy shark, candy, and bottles of soda were the perfect treats for our viewing party. Then, I added some knotted rope balls, star fish, and a lantern to the table top.
