When the boys were younger, I had a group of girl friends. We would get together at least once a month for much needed girl time. No kids, no husbands, just us. It was great. But the kids got older and we have stopped seeing each other as often. So, I called up my girls and hosted a little Galentine’s Day Party!

Galentine’s Day Ideas
The sky is the limit when you host a Galentine’s Day celebration. I hosted a small Valentine’s Day Celebration for my girlfriends several years ago too.
I like to stay with blush colors and rose gold for our special Girls Night In parties. Most of my friends have a house full of boys like I do, so it’s really nice to walk into a party with warm, inviting colors.
I have also hosted a few Favorite Things Parties, like this Hope Anchors the Soul Painting Party. And, I think that is how we will celebrate next year!
Galentine’s Day
This year, I needed to host our Galentine’s Day celebration a little early. My sweet second son’s birthday is the day before Valentine’s Day and he has asked for a little birthday party on the weekend of Valentine’s Day.
Galentine’s Party Decorations
For this party, I quickly went to Oriental Trading and ordered a box full of blush pink and rose gold decorations. In fact, I even ordered a birthday party box to use for our party. I just didn’t use the party hats or birthday banner.
I hosted the party at my office. So, I used what I had there for our party. I cleaned off my rolling storage cart and used it as a bar cart.
The backdrop was made with beautiful rose gold rosettes and a simple gold hoop wreath. I added confetti filled balloons to the side for a pop of whimsy too!
I filled the bar cart with delicious chocolate candies, flowers, paper plates, party favor treats, and, of course several bottles of champagnes, wines, and liquors.
I added small lanterns with twinkle lights, inexpensive heart candy boxes, and candles next to the bar cart.
We all had such a wonderful afternoon and evening catching up, and I can’t wait to see my galentines again soon!
If you liked this party, be sure to check out these too!
