July is National Ice Cream Month. And, I can really get behind that. I feel like my family consumes two or three times more than the national average. We celebrate the first day of Summer with ice cream for breakfast, and we make homemade ice cream during July. So, I thought it would be fun to have a little Ice Cream Month Celebration this year!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Ice Cream Party Inspiration
We try to celebrate as many holidays as we can, even if they are kind of silly. And, Ice Cream Day is one of our favorite silly holidays. So, we have had lots of ice cream parties. But, this Ice Cream Stand Party was my absolute favorite! And, in 2020 when it wasn’t safe to celebrate with people, we had a National Ice Cream Month Celebration that was a little different than in years past. But, this would be a great ice cream party favor too.
Ice Cream Month Celebration
This year, I was able to work with The Traveling Tap to create a sweet ice cream party with their vintage style ice cream trike.
I found an adorable fabric banner to hang on the front of the trike. Then, I opened the cabana striped umbrella over the trike.
I put a large tub of ice cream in an apple bushel basket, and I filled glass jars with ice cream cones. I placed some inexpensive ice cream bowls and sprinkles on a simple white cake plate. You can check out my Amazon Shop for similar items. I also added some ice cream flavored macarons to the cart. Finally, I placed a galvanized metal vase with fresh flowers on the cart.
This was a delicious and fun way to celebrate National Ice Cream Month!
