Generally, I am not a big drinker. I will enjoy an adult beverage occasionally, but not every day or week. And, we recently learned that my husband should not drink at all because of possible medical interactions. So, when I was thinking about how to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I knew it needed to include a non-alcoholic beverage. But, I also wanted it to be a little more fancy than just a glass of iced water or soda. And, this simple Valentine’s Day mocktail is the perfect drink for everyone you love this Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day Recipes
My husband and I don’t do a lot to celebrate Valentine’s, but we do always try to do something small for each other and our boys. And, a lot of the time, that includes a special treat. Some of my favorite recipes are ones that I have adapted to use for Valentine’s Day.
Simple Valentine’s Day Mocktail
The key to making this mocktail special is a fun cotton candy glitter bomb from Sweet + Fluffy Cotton Candy Co. These fun edible glitter bombs are wrapped in a sweet cloud of hand-spun cotton candy. The glitter is iridescent and makes the drink look magical. And, while you can add these sweet glistening bombs to any light-colored drink, it really becomes magical in a carbonated beverage.
In my quest to make our Valentine’s Day a little more special than every other day of the week, I looked for the perfect bubbly beverage. Of course, I could have made sparkling water with our Soda Stream, but my husband does not have the same affinity for carbonated water that I do. And, I could have grabbed a soda from the fridge, but it just didn’t feel special enough for me. But, on a trip to Whole Foods, I found exactly what I was looking for, Betty Buzz by Blake Lively! They have the best bubbles, and they are great mixers for cocktails and cocktails.
I found the cutest heart shaped champagne glasses and added a small scoop of nugget ice and then a cloud of cotton candy glitter bombs to each glass. Finally, I poured about half a bottle of Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime Soda over the cotton candy. The result was a magical, bubbly, sweet drink that I cannot wait to indulge in again in a few weeks!
