And these Simple Valentine’s Day Cakes are the perfect treat for any busy person that wants to show a little love to their sweetie!

Every year I make my family a special Valentine’s Day treat. And, some of their favorites were truly some of the easiest to make!

Simple Valentine’s Day Cakes
My boys love the marble cakes from Starbucks. So, I grabbed a few slices on a recent trip. I immediately thought it would be fun to cut them into heart shapes and add a little Valentine’s Day pizzaz to them!
Supplies
Begin by cutting heart shapes from the loaf cake slices. You can save the scraps and make cake pops or you can just snack on the scraps while you make your loves’ little Valentine’s Day cakes!
After you cut out the heart shapes, place the hearts on a cookie cooling rack, over a pan or parchment paper.
Now, warm the candy melts. You can mix in a little frosting if you want to make the cake topping more pourable. After the candy melts are melted, drizzle or pour it over the heart cakes.
Then, sprinkle some candy sprinkles on top.
After the cakes are dry, place them on a plate for your sweethearts to enjoy!
