Holiday Entertaining Mocktail Recipe

Holiday Entertaining Mocktail Recipe. I cannot even believe how fast this year has flown by!  The holidays are literally right around the corner…and, with that comes entertaining.  I like to include lots of drink choices at my celebrations, including mocktails. 

One of my favorite drinks to use for Mocktails is DASANI® Sparkling Slim Cans in Tropical Pineapple flavor.  There are five other flavors to chose from, but the Tropical Pineapple is my favorite.  One of my favorite stores to shop at for anything holiday entertaining is Target.  I found these DASANI® Sparkling Slim Cans in the water aisle of Target, and I grabbed a 20 oz from the check out coolers for my drive home.  While I was at Target, I grabbed some sugar, fresh ginger, and a fresh pineapple.  

I made a simple ginger syrup with sliced ginger root, sugar and water.  I love making flavored syrups, and ginger is a go to for my family.  It’s great to keep in the fridge.

I cored the pineapple and cut it into chunks for garnish, and refrigerated until I was ready to garnish the glasses.  Just before the guests arrived, I added a chunk of pineapple to the rim of each glass, and added some ginger syrup in an extra glass.  One ice bucket was filled with crushed ice, and another was filled with ice and DASANI® Sparkling Slim Cans.  The guests were able to add as little or as much ginger syrup to their glasses, and then poured DASANI® Sparkling Pineapple water over the ginger syrup and ice.  

I am glad I bought several 8 packs of DASANI® Sparkling Slim Cans, we went through 2 packs one day alone!  Be sure to check out more recipes using DASANI® Sparkling Water here too!
