I am going to be real with you here for a minute, I haven’t used Cricut’s Infusible Ink that often. It’s expensive and I am always kind of afraid I am going to mess it up. But, I will do just about anything for my niece. So, we opened up a box of Pink Lemonade Transfer Paper and got to work on a fun Cricut Infusible Ink Shirt set for BFFs!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Make a Shirt With Your Cricut Machine
I have probably made hundreds of shirts with Cricut Vinyl. From DIY Dog Clothes for Valentine’s Day to a DIY Valentine’s Day Shirt, I have made so many shirts and bags.
But, I have only made one Infusible Ink shirt before I made these. And that was with the Infusible Ink pens.
Infusible Ink Shirt Supplies
If you have a Cricut and an EasyPress, you will only need a few more supplies to make these shirts! I even created a cut file for you to use.
We made these shirts for my niece and her BFF at our Valentine’s Day Party For Kids. My niece LOVED making her own shirt.
Supplies for BFF Shirts:
Cricut Design Space Access and this Cut File Link
Step 1
Open the cut file and send the project to cut. Just like with Cricut Iron On, the image needs to be mirrored and the transfer sheet needs to be put on the cutting mat shiny side down.
Step 2
Once the image has been cut, use your fingers to weed the excess. Be careful not to touch the image.
Step 3
Prepare the shirt for the transfer. Remove the lint from the shirt with a lint roller or tape. Then, place a piece of card stock paper inside the shirt.
Step 4
Place the Infusible Ink Transfer Sheet on the shirt shiny side up. Then cover the image with the butcher paper included with the Transfer Paper.
Step 5
Press according to Cricut’s recommended heat settings.
That’s it, your bestie and you can have matching shirts, or you can make them for your little one and her BFF!
