Scarecrow Snacks Fall Snack Recipe

Scarecrow Snack Bowl

With four boys still living at home, I cannot tell you how many bags of chips and snacks we have with just a few chips left in them. If it wasn’t so ridiculous, I would probably get mad, LOL. And, this has been a problem we have had since the boys were in grade school. So, when they were younger, I would dump all of those open bags of chips together, and mix in some special candy treats. The boys loved their special snack mix, but the scarecrow snacks were their favorite! This simple Fall snack recipe is so easy to make, and you can use up some of the leftover chips you already have in the pantry!

Fall Recipes

Even though Florida doesn’t always fully participate in Fall, I try to embrace the season with simple fall recipes.

Who doesn’t love candy apples? I really love them, but I can’t eat a whole apple in one sitting, so these Easy Fall Candy Apples are perfect!

And, this Peanut Butter Cup Banana Bread Recipe is another great way to use up some left over foods for Fall.

This recipe is so simple, you don’t need any special tools or kitchen gadgets. You don’t even need specific measurements and amounts. Just gather up the bags of chips and snacks from the pantry. Then pick up a couple of bags of your family’s favorite candies.

We almost always have bags of popcorn and pretzels in the cabinet. And, we had a few honey roasted peanuts left in a can – don’t ask how that happened, I must have missed that can in the pantry. Then, I grabbed some peanut candies, peanut butter candies, and some pumpkin candies from the store.

Now, grab a big bowl. Then, pour in the chips, pretzels, peanuts, and whatever else you have in the pantry. Mix them all up really well. Next, add some of your favorite candies. I picked out the orange colored peanut candies to make this mix more Fall themed. I typically add about half as much candy as I do chips and nuts. Mix it all together really well.

Finally, add the delicious Scarecrow Snack mix to a clear glass jar and place it on the counter for easy Fall snacking!
