Fall Entertaining. Can’t say I love one season more than another, but, I do seriously love the change of each season, and the newness each one brings. I also can’t say I love entertaining more in one season or another, but, I enjoy Fall entertaining because it’s more casual and laid back. I am so very excited to host seasonal gatherings in our outdoor party space too.
We recently found an empty weekend, and called a few friends over for a little dinner party outside. The weather was crisp, the company was amazing, and the food and drinks were perfect! Before our dinner party, I ran to my favorite local supercenter and bought some fresh seasonal veggies, brown rice, chicken, and a few bottles Dreaming Tree Crush and Dreaming Tree Chardonnay. The Dreaming Tree Wines are available at grocery and supercenter stores, and even the drug store. To find where you can buy it – visit their website and type in your zip code. It’s SO easy!
Once I got home I quickly decorated our party space with fall accents, and moved our farm table and benches out there. While I decorated, my hubby prepped the veggies and chicken, and fired up the grill. I decorated the party space with items from inside our home, including metal buckets, fresh flowers, wooden crates, lanterns, and even real and foam pumpkins. I draped an oversized wool scarf over the table at an angle, and topped it with pumpkins, wine glasses, and a few bottles of Dreaming Tree Wines. Plates were placed on wooden slab chargers and linen napkins were laid on top of each plate.
My husband prepared the most delicious skewered chicken over grilled veggies with brown rice for us to enjoy as we caught up with our friends.

It was a perfect evening spent with people we love.
