My niece recently went and saw the mermaids at Weeki Wachee, and has talked about them non-stop since her visit. If I had known she was going before she left, I would have used this easy mermaid party favor idea and made a few little buckets of mermaid goodness for my niece and her friends.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
We have had so many mermaid parties over the years, but, hands down my favorite is the Pirate and Mermaid Skeleton Halloween. Maybe it’s because we had the skeletons sitting in the car like passengers, and got pulled over by the police? Or maybe because it was just so much fun to have a themed party for adults on the beach!
I also really loved styling this sweet Mermaid Party for my niece several years ago.
Mermaid Party Favor Idea
This sweet little party favor is perfect for your tiny mermaids and their besties. And, it is super easy to put together! I gathered treats from my local big box store and Amazon, but you can totally order it all from Amazon and have it delivered.
I only added a few treats to an inexpensive sand bucket, and it is perfect for any little mermaid heading to the beach!
Let’s get started! First gather all of your supplies.
- Sand Buckets
- Flip Flops
- Mermaid Popsicle Holder and freeze pop popsicles
- Glitter Crayons
- Gold Coins
- Crinkle Paper Shreds
This cute little favor couldn’t be much easier to assemble. Start by filling the bottom of a sand bucket with the crinkle cut paper shreds. Then, add a popsicle to each of the mermaid tail popsicle holders. Now, put the flip flops, mermaid tail popsicles, and glitter crayons into the bucket. Finally, add some pretty shells and gold coins to fill in any spaces.
It’s that simple! You could add some candies or other small treats if you wanted to as well, but this favor is perfect as is!
