Easter Cake Toppers
Easter Cake Toppers. Every now and then I like to sit down and color for a little while. It’s super relaxing to me, and sometimes I end up with an image I love…other times I don’t, but that’s ok too!

On a recent trip to the store I saw some cute little Easter stamps and I thought they would be fun for some aspect of our Easter celebration.
Supplies:
Derwent ProColour Colored Pencils
Paper Punch (two sizes)
Once I got home I pulled out my Derwent sketch pad and colored pencils and colored for a bit. After I finished coloring, I thought the images would be fun cupcake toppers. I used a paper punch and punched the images out, and then slightly larger paper punch to punch out 4 more circles in a coordinating color.
Next I ran the colored images and two of the four larger circles through my Xyron sticker maker. I cut a bamboo skewer in half and stuck one piece between a stickered and nonstickered larger circle. Then, I stuck the colored image to the middle of each of the skewered larger circles. They looked really cute as they were, but I decided to add a little fringe to one of them!
To do this, I folded tissue paper and trimmed it. I used my Xyron MegaRunner to apply adhesive to the trim of one of the circles and stuck the fringe around the edge.
Since these are a little bigger than standard cupcake toppers, I thought they would look better on mini bundt cakes. I can’t wait to make more toppers like this again soon!
