Simple Garden Easter Gift
Simple Garden Easter Gift. I am so very excited to share this simple, but absolutely adorable Easter Gift Idea. This little project took only a few minutes to make with the help of my trusty Xyron MegaRunner and Cricut Maker, and it was super affordable!
Like everyone else I know, I am smitten with Rae Dunn and all of her cute pottery…but, it is next to impossible to find. So, I decided to try to DIY some clay pots Rae Dunn style, and one thing led to another and then another…and before I knew it, I had an adorable Garden Easter Gift! {Be sure to read to the bottom of the post because I am sharing a chance to win an awesome prize from OTC too!} This little project took just a few minutes of work, but looks like it cost a fortune and took forever to do.
Supplies:
DecoArt Chalky Finish White Paint
Basket or Wheelbarrow
I primed my clay pots with spray primer because they were a little yucky looking from sitting outside for a few weeks. Once the primer dried, I quickly painted on two coats of DecoArt Chalky Paint. While the paint dried, I opened up Cricut Design Space and cut out Grey Iron On GROW for the pots.{Cut file here – Kyden Font} I also printed and cut a sweet little seed packet for some bulk seeds I had left over from my garden party. {Cut file here}
I spent about a minute to assemble the seed packet with my MegaRunner, and poured few scoops of seeds into the packet and sealed it up.
Next, I weeded the iron on, and heated up my iron. I grabbed my now dry pots and carefully ironed the text onto each pot.
Finally, I added the pots, seeds, and some yummy chocolate to the rustic looking wheelbarrow.
That’s it! Super easy, and so cute!
