Poppin’ Whipped Sunset Cocktail
This whole week I am sharing favorite drink recipes from some of my closest friends, as well as our own “House Special”. You don’t want to miss any of these fabulous drink recipes, I promise, they are all that good!
Adapted from The Pink Flour
When Stef showed me her drink recipe, it took all I had not to go out and buy some whipped vodka (or even make some). She originally found the recipe for a Sunset Cocktail on Pinterest, but the original source is The Pink Flour. Stef added a little more vodka and OJ than the original recipe calls for, and for fun, added PopRocks to the rim, allowing for it to be renamed, The Poppin’ Whipped Sunset…an appropriate name for any exhausted mama’s drink. I think this drink would be amazing served frozen or on the rocks, and I cannot wait to make some myself!

- 4 shots of orange juice
- 2.5 shots of whipped vodka (homemade or store bought)
- Grenadine
- Cherry
- Whipped Cream
- PopRocks
- Rim glass with PopRocks
- Fill glass with ice
- Add liquid ingredients and stir well
- Garnish with cherry and whipped cream
I hope you are enjoying our summer drinks recipes this week, you can find the rest here. Be sure to check back again tomorrow for the last recipe, my favorite 🙂
