Olympics Viewing Party

Olympics Viewing Party. When I was a little girl I used to love watching the Olympics…I anxiously waited for each of the games to be played. It was so exciting to see the hockey teams play, and the figure skaters skate so beautifully! Even as an adult, I look forward to watching the Olympics.

Host an Olympic Viewing Party

My second son loves everything hockey and has Miracle memorized word for word. It is his favorite movie of all time, he watches it when he is sick, he watches it when he feels happy, he watches it when he needs something to do…so, when he asked if we could have a viewing party for this year’s Winter Games, I said YES!

When the US Mens Hockey team skates on the ice we will invite his hockey team over for an amazing viewing party! I have already ordered all of my goodies from Oriental Trading Company. If the weather holds up, we will all sit out back to watch the game, and enjoy stadium foods and snacks.

Decorate for the Olympics

I love the look of flag bunting, and the international flags from OTC are perfect for the Olympics. I also ordered a few paper box place stands. They are perfect for popcorn, party favors, or even just decor. I also ordered an Olympic style torch, and some plates and napkins. Since a party isn’t a party at my house without cake and favors, I ordered some teen friendly fun party favors for the kids too. International Flag sunglasses and gold medal chocolates will be a huge hit with the kids. Finally, I ordered some fun Olympic Ring discs. The boys can play giant tic tac toe with them, or even play in the pool of snow I have from SnoWonder! So fun, right? We are ready to cheer on our athletes at this year’s games!
