We LOVE our mini waffle irons. We have several holiday irons and a plain one…we even have a tiny griddle. And, the boys really love it when I make them special waffle breakfasts, even though they are nearly grown. So, over Spring break I thought I would surprise them with mini bunny waffles!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Easter Food
We usually don’t do a big fancy Easter meal, we typically have a picnic style buffet on Easter Sunday.
But, the kids do love a fun breakfast. Sometimes we make The Best Cinnamon Roll Recipe. I have also used this Easy Salted Caramel Bread Pudding Recipe for Easter breakfast too.
Delicious Easter Breakfast Idea
This year, I am going to make my life a little easier and set up a mini waffle bar for the kids to make their own breakfast. Of course I will make sure they can make little bunny waffles like we enjoyed over Spring break!
And, you can totally do the same thing! You only need a few things, and some counter space.
- Mini Waffle Iron
- Waffle or Cake Mix
- Cupcake Pick Bunny Ears
- Whipped Cream
- Optional – sprinkles
First, mix your cake or waffle mix according to the package instructions. Then, pour it into a small plastic bottle for less mess waffle making.
Next, set up the space. I put the waffle iron on a paper plate to catch any over flow mess. Then, I put the bunny ear picks in a small container next to plates and a can of whipped cream.
I also had fresh fruit out for the boys to snack on while they made their waffles.
Once the waffles are cooked, add the bunny ears to the top, and the whipped cream to the bottom. That’s it! Now you have the cutest little bunny waffles on the block!
If you enjoyed this delicious breakfast idea, you will love these!
