Oscar Winning Drink Recipe.  So, there is a big awards show this weekend…and I can tell you that despite the fact that I have not watched even one of the nominated movies, I will watch the Oscars.  It’s one of my favorite awards show to watch every year.  Be sure to read all the way to the end to see more amazing Oscar celebration inspiration! But, when I watch the Oscars, I feel like I need to get a little fancy.  I pull out the champagne glasses, and the champagne.  Sometimes I drink plain champagne, other times, I dress it up some.  This year, I will be enjoying a dry champagne with grenadine syrup and pink rock candy.  Of course I had to test the “recipe” this week…it’s a tough job. {LOL}I dipped the champagne glass rims in a shallow plate of corn syrup, and then dipped it into gold candy sprinkles to give them a little more flair.  I added 2 oz of grenadine syrup to 6 oz of dry champagne and stirred it with a pink rock candy stick.
