Erupting Mai Tai
Erupting Mai Tai. As summer draws to an end, I’m struggling to hang on to the last few moments…and this Erupting Mai Tai recipe is helping me savor the flavor just a little longer!
I like to drink fruity beverages, so this is high up on my favorites list, and it’s easy enough to make a big batch for a party or a single batch for yourself.
The ingredients are all fairly simple, except the dry ice, and even that was easy to find at my local grocery store.
Erupting Mai Tai shopping list:
Coconut Rum
Spiced Rum
Orange Curaçao
Amaretto
Orange Juice
Pineapple Juice
Grenadine
Dry Ice
Volcano Cups
This drink is so great for a large party, or make a large batch, and keep in container in the refrigerator. Add the dry ice just before serving for the best visual effect. {Be sure to use tongs to handle the dry ice, and don’t drink your mat tai until it is done erupting.}
