Florida forgot the sequence of seasons, so we went straight to Summer after our three days of Winter this year. But, before the killer humidity settles in, I am working on the yard and garden. And, when I finish that work I want a nice cold drink. Sometimes those drinks are alcoholic and this delicious spring cocktail will be enjoyed all season long!

I don’t drink a lot, but there are times when a splash of bourbon or vodka in a drink hits the spot. I love lemonade and tea during the Spring and Summer.
My Frosted Vodka Lemonade is always a big hit during Summer parties and gatherings. (You can omit the vodka and enjoy a yummy lemonade slush too!)
If you know me personally, you know I really enjoy cherry drinks, and bourbon…so, it would make sense that I love this Bourbon Cherry Cola cocktail too!
Delicious Spring Cocktail
This Easy Homemade Lemonade Recipe is a family favorite and it was the base for this spring cocktail! I filled a simple old-fashioned glass with ice, and about 4 ounces of lemonade. Then, I added an ounce of Four Roses Bourbon and about a half an ounce of grenadine. Finally, I garnished my cocktail with cherries and lemon slices.
If you want a stronger drink, you could add a full shot of bourbon. I really enjoyed this cocktail with just a hint of bourbon though.
Bourbon Cherry Lemonade Cocktail
Ingredients
- 4-6 oz Lemonade
- 1 oz Bourbon I used Four Roses for this recipe.
- 1/2 oz Grenadine
- 2 slices Fresh Lemon For garnish
- 2 Maraschino Cherries For garnish
- Ice
Instructions

Fill a glass with ice and lemon slices.

Add lemonade.

Add bourbon and grenadine.

Garnish with maraschino cherries.
