Cherry Egg Cream Recipe

Cherry Egg Cream Recipe. One of my very favorite treats ever is cherries…I love cherry flavored everything, so I was SUPER excited to find out that we were using The Cherry Man cherries for our Laura Kelly Design Team project this month. As a kid, I remember my mom making a chocolate egg cream soda, and talking about how she had them as a child…I don’t care for chocolate egg creams, but, I do love this twist on a traditional chocolate egg cream, a Cherry Egg Cream!
We spent the weekend trying out various cherry treat recipes using The Cherry Man cherries and cherry syrup. My boys loved printing up and cutting out all of Laura Kelly Designs fun party printables and “hosting” their own parties with and for each other. It was like a party stylist’s kids’ version of playing diner. One of their favorites was the Cherry Egg Cream.

Seltzer Water
Heavy Cream
The Cherry Man Cherry Syrup
The Cherry Man Cherries
Whipped Cream
Ice
Optional: Chocolate Syrup

This recipe is so simple, the kids actually made it themselves several more times after I showed them how. Fill a glass with ice, and drizzle The Cherry Man Cherry Syrup along the sides of the glass. Fill the glass 2/3 of the way full with seltzer water, and top with heavy cream. (It is mesmerizing to watch the heavy cream sink to the bottom of the glass) Top with whipped cream and a Cherry Man Cherry. My boys added chocolate syrup to theirs sometimes too.
Voila, a fun and delicious summer treat!
