I am sharing all of My Thrifty Sister’s Fall Apple Recipes from the Fall issue of EPM.  She hosted a fabulous A is for Apple Party for the Fall issue of Everyday Party Magazine.  She served TONS of Fall Apple Recipes, including these delicious apple recipes below! From Apple Chips to Turkey and Apple Meatballs.  No apple recipe was left unmade!

Ingredients
  1. 2 large, cored apples
  2. 2 T. sugar (optional)
  3. 1 t. cinnamon
  4. Canola Oil Spray
Instructions
  1. Pre-Heat oven to 200 degrees
  2. Thinly slice apples (about 1/8'' thick) with a sharp knife
  3. Line baking sheet with two layers of parchment paper
  4. Arrange apples on parchment paper and spray with canola oil
  5. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon or cinnamon sugar mix
  6. Bake until crisp 2-3 hours
Notes
  1. Save in sealed container for up to three days

Ingredients
  1. 1 Package of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  2. Canola Oil
  3. 1 Can of Apple Pie Filling
  4. Powdered Sugar Sprinkle
Instructions
  1. In large frying pan, heat oil (1/2 to 3/4'' deep) to about 375* (You can drop a few drops of water in the oil to test, if it sizzles, it is ready to fry)
  2. Separate biscuits and use a cookie cutter to punch a center hole
  3. Fry for 2-3 minutes each side
  4. Allow to dry and cool on a paper towel
  5. Once the donuts are cool, slice them in half and add a generous scoop of pie filling.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar

Ingredients
  1. 6 Snickers Candy Bars
  2. 4 Granny Smith Apples
  3. 1 16oz tub of room temperature Cool Whip
  4. 1 5oz package of vanilla instant pudding
  5. 1/2 C milk
  6. Caramel topping
Instructions
  1. Mix milk, Cool Whip, and pudding mix in a bowl until powder has dissolved
  2. Chop apples into small pieces
  3. Chop Snickers into small pieces (you can freeze and crush them too)
  4. Add apples and Snickers to Cool Whip mix
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour
  6. Sprinkle with Snickers and drizzle with caramel

  1. 2 c. cooked, chopped chicken
  2. 1 small lime
  3. 1 ripe avocado (skin removed)
  4. 1/2 c. plain Greek Yogurt
  5. 1/2 chopped red onion
  6. 1/2 chopped Granny Smith Apple
  7. 1/2 t. granulated garlic
  8. 1/2 t. onion powder
  9. 1/4 t. salt
  10. 1/4 t. pepper
  11. chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. In small bowl, mash avocado and Greek Yogurt until smooth
  2. Stir in garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper
  3. Add chicken, onions, apples, and walnuts and stir until well combined
  4. Add lime to taste
  5. Serve in a wrap, a pita, on bread, or over lettuce

  1. 1 lb. ground turkey
  2. 1 & 1/4 C. turkey flavor stuffing
  3. 1/2 C. chicken broth
  4. 1/2 C. diced sweet apple
  5. 1/2 C. diced onion
  6. 1/2 C cheese shreds
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1 & 1/2 t. mustard
  9. 1 t. salt
Instructions
  1. Pre-Heat oven to 350*
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
  3. Form small balls (a small scoop is perfect)
  4. Place in single layer on baking sheet
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until fully cooked
Notes
  1. Serve with BBQ or Sweet and Sour Sauce
