Fall Apple Recipes

I am sharing all of My Thrifty Sister’s Fall Apple Recipes from the Fall issue of EPM. She hosted a fabulous A is for Apple Party for the Fall issue of Everyday Party Magazine. Apple Chips Recipe


- 2 large, cored apples
- 2 T. sugar (optional)
- 1 t. cinnamon
- Canola Oil Spray
- Pre-Heat oven to 200 degrees
- Thinly slice apples (about 1/8'' thick) with a sharp knife
- Line baking sheet with two layers of parchment paper
- Arrange apples on parchment paper and spray with canola oil
- Sprinkle apples with cinnamon or cinnamon sugar mix
- Bake until crisp 2-3 hours
- Save in sealed container for up to three days
Apple Pie Donuts Recipe


- 1 Package of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
- Canola Oil
- 1 Can of Apple Pie Filling
- Powdered Sugar Sprinkle
- In large frying pan, heat oil (1/2 to 3/4'' deep) to about 375* (You can drop a few drops of water in the oil to test, if it sizzles, it is ready to fry)
- Separate biscuits and use a cookie cutter to punch a center hole
- Fry for 2-3 minutes each side
- Allow to dry and cool on a paper towel
- Once the donuts are cool, slice them in half and add a generous scoop of pie filling.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar
Snickers Apple Salad Recipe


- 6 Snickers Candy Bars
- 4 Granny Smith Apples
- 1 16oz tub of room temperature Cool Whip
- 1 5oz package of vanilla instant pudding
- 1/2 C milk
- Caramel topping
- Mix milk, Cool Whip, and pudding mix in a bowl until powder has dissolved
- Chop apples into small pieces
- Chop Snickers into small pieces (you can freeze and crush them too)
- Add apples and Snickers to Cool Whip mix
- Refrigerate for 1 hour
- Sprinkle with Snickers and drizzle with caramel
Avocado, Chicken, and Apple Salad Recipe


- 2 c. cooked, chopped chicken
- 1 small lime
- 1 ripe avocado (skin removed)
- 1/2 c. plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 chopped red onion
- 1/2 chopped Granny Smith Apple
- 1/2 t. granulated garlic
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- chopped walnuts
- In small bowl, mash avocado and Greek Yogurt until smooth
- Stir in garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper
- Add chicken, onions, apples, and walnuts and stir until well combined
- Add lime to taste
- Serve in a wrap, a pita, on bread, or over lettuce
Turkey and Apple Meatballs Recipe


- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 & 1/4 C. turkey flavor stuffing
- 1/2 C. chicken broth
- 1/2 C. diced sweet apple
- 1/2 C. diced onion
- 1/2 C cheese shreds
- 1 egg
- 1 & 1/2 t. mustard
- 1 t. salt
- Pre-Heat oven to 350*
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
- Form small balls (a small scoop is perfect)
- Place in single layer on baking sheet
- Bake for 20 minutes or until fully cooked
- Serve with BBQ or Sweet and Sour Sauce
I will be making several of these Fall apple recipes for my family to enjoy over the next few weeks! They are prefect for a quick snack, family meal, or party.
