Father’s Day is just about a month away, and it’s time to start thinking about what to get your dad and what to get for your little ones to give to dad. My dad was the king of dad jokes. He would tell us the worst jokes and laugh and laugh. In fact, my sister and I text each other Dad jokes all the time just to keep it going.
My dad’s go to joke was always about elephant snot, as gross as that is. I grew up in a pretty stereotypical home, both parents, a sibling, a few pets, and dinner at the table every night. And every night my dad would tell us jokes and some were true “knee-slappers” others were just terrible. Like, what’s ten feet long, slimy, and slides off a tin roof? Elephant snot. Bless my mom, she shook her head in disgust every time, and my sister and I would giggle.
