Octoberfest

My dad was German, and I went to a small Lutheran school as a little girl. So, I learned some German words, and prayers, and we celebrated holidays with German traditions. Because of that, I have always wanted to go to Germany for a real Oktoberfest celebration. But, until then, I will go to local celebrations or host parties at home.

Oktoberfest is a weeks long beer and fun fest in Munich that has been celebrated for centuries, with guests from around the world.

We have hosted our own Oktoberfest Party a few times. And I love this Oktoberfest Party from Perfect Parties.
