Simple Thanksgiving Photo Props. Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away. I cannot even begin to wrap my mind around how fast this year has gone by. This Thanksgiving is the first one since my father in law passed away, and his birthday was always within a day or two of the holiday, so I know it is going to be difficult for my husband, our kids, and my mother in law…with that in mind, I thought it would be fun to have silly Thanksgiving photo props at the house for silly pics and to help lighten the mood.
Supplies:
Card Stock {Pick your colors, I stayed more traditional}
Bamboo Skewers
Cut your photo props according to the instructions in the packaging, using the Sizzix Sandwich method; cutting pad, die, paper, cutting pad.
I cut different colors for accents and used scissors to trim off the excess. You could easily cut everything with white paper and have the kids color it too.
I used my Xyron Creative Station to make the accent color pieces stickers, and applied them to the cut pieces in the coordinating location.
I slid a bamboo skewer through the pre-cut slots and ran a quick line of adhesive on the back to hold the skewer in place.
