Easter Basket Filler
Easter basket filler. Laura Kelly recently sent me some of her new (and fabulously fun) fabric to play with. She also included some GREAT products for sewing challenged people like me. (Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Adhesive Sheets, where have those been all my life? Liquid fusion, so going in my sewing kit! And fun Laura Kelly buttons from Buttons Galore!) I made this cute little BooBoo Bunny in just a few minutes for my niece’s Easter basket!
Supplies:
Laura Kelly (or other adorable) Fabric
Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Sheets Peel & Stick 5/Pkg-4.25X5
Washcloth in coordinating color
Zip Tie
Ribbon
Plastic Easter Egg
Optional: Eyes, cotton tail, fabric paint
There are a million fantastic DIY’s for making a boo boo bunny, so I didn’t take photos of the process.
Adhere the cute fabric to the washcloth using Aleene’s Fabric Fusion. Lay the washcloth washcloth side up as a diamond. Roll from the top down, and fold in half. Fold again, to create the head. Zip tie the head to the body, pulling it tight. snip off the excess, and cover with a cute ribbon. Add a plastic Easter egg to hold ice, and slip it in the back. Fluff the ears, and voila!
Add a nose, eyes, and a tail if you would like.
