Simple Baby Shower Favor
I’ve had an idea in my head for a few years for a whale themed baby shower. I was waiting for someone to actually need a shower before I worked on it. But, I got tired of waiting for a new baby to shower, so I styled a little baby shower. And, even my fake parties have party favors, LOL! I wanted to share a simple baby shower favor idea, that was also cost effective.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Baby Shower Party Favors
I always struggle with baby shower favors. As with all of my favors, I want it to be useful and thoughtful. I also need it to be cost conscious. You can see why I struggle…
There are a few things I can say with absolute certainty. First, baby shower guest lists are typically women. Second, women almost always push themselves too far without giving themselves time for a break. With that knowledge, I decided to make an inexpensive bath salt jar.
Whale Baby Shower Favors
I love Ball Canning Jars, so, I filled a small jars with scented epsom salt and added a party circle to the front of the jar. I could have left it as is, but it was a little plain to me, so I added a little ribbon and a bow around the lid.
Supplies
Step 1
Fill jars with Epson Salt. I bought pre-scented salt to make my life a little easier. You can add essential oils to the salt jar if you want a different scent.
Step 2
Use a 2″ circle paper punch to cut out the tags.
Step 3
Run each tag through the Xyron Sticker Maker.
Step 4
Stick the tag stickers on the smooth side of the jar.
Step 5
Cut ribbon and tie a bow to the lid.
It’s so easy, I actually had my son make them for me!
