Groomsman Gift Box. This week I have shared a sweet cupcake favor box, a fun LEGO favor box, and a Bridesmaid’s gift box. I am SO excited to share today’s gift box idea with you! I live in Central Florida near Tampa. Tampa has an amazing Cuban community, with delicious food, cultural activities, and Cuban style cigars hand rolled right in front of you! It’s such a fun part of our area’s heritage.

When we were married, my husband and I created thoughtful custom gifts for each member of our wedding party. However, for his bachelor party night, each of the groomsmen were given Cuban style cigars. Thinking back to our groomsmen, I made a small gift box nearly any one would love to receive.

These gift boxes are so easy to put together too! The bottom of the box was filled with tobacco leaves, and then two cigars, a simple customized matchbook, a pair of cigar snippers, and a bottle of cognac were carefully placed inside.

I tied the boxes closed with a piece of jute, and attached a monogrammed leather luggage tag.

I used a simple book of matches for these boxes, and customized each one with a custom printed cover. To do this, I measured the length and width of the matchbook, and created a cover in Adobe with a monogram, the wedding date, and the names of the bride and groom. I cut it out, and ran it through my Xyron Creative Station, and applied it to the matchbook. It was so easy and took less than 5 minutes to make! You could also order custom matches or include a Zippo lighter, depending on your budget.
