Shark Week Party Sign
Shark Week Party Sign. I’m so very excited for our annual Shark Week Party this year! I decided to use my some of Martha Stewarts new Celebrations party line from Michaels for our party, and it was the cutest, preppy Shark Week Party ever! My very favorite part of this party was the Shark Week Party Sign I made. It was the perfect backdrop for our sweets table, and it will be reused in one of our guests’ bedrooms after the party.
Shark Week Party Sign Supplies:
Cricut {I used my Martha Stewart Explore Air 2}
Craft Grade Plywood
Glue {I used E6000 and clamps}
Decide on the size of the sign, and cut your wood to fit. I used left over crafting plywood, and trimmed it with 3/4″ wooden dowels around the edges.
Sand the wood, and paint it. I painted the background orange and the trim blue to match our party colors. Since the wood was so thin, I wasn’t able to nail it into place. I used E6000 glue around the edges, and placed the trim wood around it. Clamps held the trim in place while the glue dried.
Open Design Space and size the cut file to fit your sign. Cut the Iron On out. {Don’t forget to cut it shiny side down, and mirror the cut} This image was just under 2′ long.
Weed the Iron On and place it on the wood sign. Cover with the protective Sheet, and use the EasyPress as you would on cotton fabric.
Add hooks to the backside of the sign, and hang it above your party table for the party and in your favorite shark lovers room after the celebration!
