Holiday Gift Basket DIY. If you blink you are going to miss the entire holiday season…I swear this year feels like it was just a few blinks long! I am desperately trying to get all of my holiday gifts finished up so that I can slow down and enjoy the remainder of the season and year with my family.
As a family, we like to give each of our sons’ teachers holiday gifts. I have four boys, they have at least five teachers each, some have 7-8 and coaches…so, while I would love to give them all gift cards to their favorite liquor store {kidding-ish}, I don’t have the means to do so. So, we make gifts for the teachers. One of our favorite gifts to make and give is chocolate bark, sometimes we make peppermint bark, other times we make caramel toffee. But, I often struggle with how to package it. This year I have it all figured out, and the packaging is ready to go!
I was sent some adorable papers from Wild Whispers, so I pulled out my Cricut and Xyron MegaRunner and made cute little berry baskets for the candy.
Supplies:
Toffee or Candies
Cello Bag for the candy
Open Design Space and choose your cut file. {I used this file.} Size it to fit the paper, and send it to your Cricut to cut. The Cricut will cut and score the paper.
Fold the basket on the score lines and use your Xyron Tape Runner to apply adhesive.
Assemble the basket and fill with goodies!
This was so easy my boys were able to help me make them.
