I love making my own holiday decorations. In the last several years, I have changed nearly all of my Halloween decorations. It’s so much fun to create something totally personal and unique. And, with all of the crafting tools and technology available, it’s truly never been easier. Throughout the month, and into October I will share tons of FREE Halloween printables, and SVG files. But, this Happy Halloween SVG file is one of my favorites!

DIY Halloween Decorations

DIY projects are so satisfying to me. I love to go out to the garage with raw materials and create something for myself, my home, or for a friend. I especially love to create signs. At any given time, I have a dozen or more pre-painted boards in my garage waiting for me to create my next masterpiece.

Several years ago I lost feeling in my right arm from my middle finger to my pinky and my finger tips to above my elbow. Overall it hasn’t affected how I live, but it can make detailed painting and formal writing a little more challenging for me. Because of that, I rarely made anything that would require finite details. Until I discovered you could use Iron On Vinyl on painted wood!! Now, I can create perfect signs in just a few minutes!
