Easy EEK Halloween Decor

Eek Halloween Sign

Easy EEK Halloween Decor

Easy EEK Halloween Decor. I really enjoy changing my holiday decorations a little each year, and because of this, I really need to keep my spending to a minimum!

Eek Halloween Sign

This review is based strictly on my opinion.  Others may have a different opinion or experience with the product listed.  I was provided the sample free of charge and paid a small fee by the company or PR agency and I provided my honest opinion.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional. These commissions help to keep the rest of my content free, so thank you!
I was recently sent a box of Teresa Collins’ products to use with my Xyron tools. After a few minutes of looking through everything and thinking about how I could use it all, I decided to make a simple eek sign. I used just one sheet of Teresa’s paper, scrap wood, leftover paint, and my pretty Teresa Collins Mega Runner to make this sign, and it literally took twice as long for the paint to dry than it did to do the entire project!

Cricut and Design Space Access

Scrap Wood {Cut to fit your space}

Square Dowels {Cut to frame the Scrap Wood}

Black Paint and Paint Brush

I had a piece of scrap wood that was already cut to 6”x10”, so I just cut some square dowels as trim.

Once the dowels were cut, I painted them with 3 coats of DecoArt black acrylic paint.
While the paint dried on the trim pieces, I cut a piece of Teresa’s paper to cover the 6×10 wood scrap. I used the Mega Runner to apply adhesive to the wood, around the edges and in the middle, and stuck the paper on top.

I used the reverse side of the excess paper to cut the word eek with my Cricut.
After the paint was fully dry, I applied adhesive to the back of the trim wood with my Mega Runner. Then, I added the pieces around the edges of the paper on the 6×10 piece of wood.

Next, I used my Mega Runner to add some adhesive to the back of the eek cut out. Then, I placed it on the framed wood.

This was the easiest project I’ve done in a long time, but I really love it! It would be a darling gift for a friend or even a teacher with a few extra classroom supplies.
