Five Minute St. Patrick’s Day Bag
St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner, so the boys and I decided to work on a few fun St. Paddy’s Day goodies this weekend to share with some of our favorite Irish and not so Irish friends and family. These sweet St. Patrick’s Day bags took us less than five minutes to make, and will thrill. my niece and nephew later this week.
Make St. Patrick’s Day Treats
My kiddos wanted to make a fun Irish Candy treat for their cousins, but without a working kitchen I knew that would be a task I could’t undertake. Instead of trying to make or find Shamrock candy or St. Patrick’s Day lollipops, I challenged my guys to come up with another fun treat we could put together in less than ten minutes. They went through my stash of favor bags, and decided we could add some Iron On to two bags, and fill them with gold coins and Lucky Charms Cereal.
Supplies:
Cricut Design Space
Lucky Charms Cereal or other St. Patrick’s Day candy
Step 1:
Open this cut file, and size it to fit your treat bag. {My bags already had gold polka dots on them, but it would be super easy to add polka dots to plain bags.}
Step 2:
Prepare your cutting mat and send the project to cut. {Place the Iron On on the mat shiny side down, and mirror your cut}
Step 3:
Weed the excess Iron On
Step 4:
Apply the Iron On using the EasyPress 2 and Cricut’s recommended heat settings.
Step 5:
Fill with St. Paddy’s Day candy, Rainbow Twizzlers, Gold Coins, Lucky Charms, or other St. Patrick’s Day Treats.
