I grew up in a family that believed that as long as you weren’t hurting yourself or anyone else, you were ok. My parents taught be to appreciate everyone’s differences. And, more importantly, they taught me to accept and love everyone, no matter what their beliefs are. And, I have tried to teach my own boys these ideals as well. But, as the mom of an LGTBQ+ child, I so wish that more people were brought up the same way. So, I created this Free Pride Sublimation Image to share with you all.

A few years ago, just after one of my boys told us he was gay, I asked him to help me create some FREE SVG files to make Pride Month Shirts to wear to the local Gay Pride Parade. I love these files so much!

Free Pride Sublimation Image

I love the Pride Month Shirts so much, but it was time to add some more to my collection!

So, I created this sweet love is love sublimation image. It’s perfect for mugs, shirts, tote bags, and tumblers. And, I cannot wait to make myself a shirt to wear to this year’s pride festivals!

Sublimation

Sublimation shirt printing is a specific process of printing that first involves printing onto a special sheet of paper, then transferring that image onto another a polyester mix product with a heat press.

Sublimating costs more than other methods, but it will last longer, without cracking or peeling over time.

I bought an Epson EcoTank Printer and filled it with Hiipoo Sublimation Ink. You need to do this with a new printer that hasn’t ever been filled with traditional ink. (Pineapple Paper Co. has a great post on converting your printer!) You will also need special sublimation paper, shirts or cups for sublimating, and a heat or mug press.

Lint Roller

After you set up your printer, download the Love is Love Image from the shop. Then, print it, be sure to MIRROR the image before you print it!

Next, use the lint roller on your pressing surface. Then, use heat press tape to tape your image where you want it to be.(If you are pressing a shirt, place card stock or butcher paper between the shirt, under the shirt, and on top of the shirt) Finally, press the image onto your shirt or mug!

Once the shirt or mug has cooled, remove the image and enjoy!
