I can’t believe it’s already November. And, Hanukkah is right around the corner. Truly this year is blowing my mind! We started celebrating one night of Hanukkah when my boys were younger so I could teach them about the holiday. It has become an annual tradition that we all really look forward to each year. And, I love to make decorations, and yummy food. This year, I made a new DIY Hanukkah Banner to prepare for our celebration, and I love it so much!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Chanukkah Decorations
It has gotten a lot easier to find Hanukkah decor since we first started our celebrations. In fact, I just found some cute decor at the Dollar Tree this weekend! However, I also really enjoy making our Hanukkah decorations.
DIY Hanukkah Banner
If you are crafty, you may have everything you need at home to make a banner in just a few minutes. If not, check out my Amazon Shop, or click the links below to buy everything you need. I used a Cricut cut file to make this banner. It was easy, and I needed it to be simple to make.
- Cricut Maker
- HTV
- EasyPress
- Design Space Access – Use this link to find my design.
- Canvas Banner
- Magnetic Wood Frame
Begin by opening Design Space and sizing the image to fit your canvas. Once it is the correct size, send it to cut. Don’t forget to mirror the cut and place the HTV on the cutting mat shiny side down.
Then, weed the excess HTV.
Next, prepare the canvas for the HTV, and then apply the HTV on to the canvas.
Finally, add the magnetic wood frame set to the top and bottom of the canvas, and hang it up for your Hanukkah Celebrations!
