DIY Joy Mini Bunting

Stefani is my go to gal for inside DIY projects.  She can make ANYTHING with paper, glitter, glue, and fabric, no joke.  When EPM signed up to be a swag sponsor for The Crafty Social {Orlando} I knew Stefani was going to create something adorable and simple enough for anyone to make!  I am head over heals in love with her DIY Joy Mini Bunting she created, and she has graciously offered to share the DIY with EPM’s readers too! {YAY!!}

Supplies:

Fabric

2 pipe cleaners

1 straw

Glitter glue

Ribbon

Steps:

The Snowflake

1. Cut 1 pipe cleaner into 3rds

2. Cut the other pipe cleaner into 6ths

3. Cut half of the straw into 6ths

4. Cross two pieces of the pipe cleaner like a t and twist together. Then cross the third piece through and twist together to make your snowflake shape.

5. Place the straw pieces onto the snowflake.

6. Twist the small pieces of pipe cleaners around each end of snowflake.

7. Add a brad or sticker to the center of the snowflake.

The Banner

1. Cut 3 banner flags

2. Use the glitter glue to write a “J” on the first flag and a “Y” on the third flag.

3. Hot glue the snowflake to the middle flag and the ribbon across the top of all three flags.
