DIY Family Vacation Shirt

DIY Family Vacation Shirt. We are taking a trip up the eastern seaboard this summer and I could not possibly be more excited! Our eventual destination is Boston, but we plan on stopping as much as possible along the way.

One thing I always do for the family before we head out on a road trip is create special busy bags for everyone with new activities and treats just for each person. The bags usually look the same on the outside {with everyone’s name on them to keep them separated} and are decorated to match a theme.

Since this trip is along the coast to Boston over 4th of July week, I decided to make a fun crab and lobster flag bag with iron on. But, I loved it so much, I made matching shirts too!

This project took some time to design and line up, so I saved the cut file for you. Grab the bag file here and the shirt file here.

Open the cut file and size it to fit your bag or shirt. Send it to your Cricut to cut. {Remember to cut Iron On shiny side down, and mirror the cut}

Preheat your EasyPress while you weed the Iron On, then, preheat the bag or shirt for a few seconds. Apply the Iron On where you want it, and Press for the recommended time. {Don’t forget to Press the backside too!}
