4th of July Mason Jar
By My Thrifty Sister
Everyone loves mason jars! Sometimes, though, they need just a little something something to make them a tiny bit more special! My Thrifty Sister is back again, sharing her DIY for a simple 4th of July mason jar. She used these cute little mason jars in her 4th of July party in the Summer issue of EPM.
Supplies:
Mason jars, or empty glass jars
Mini USA flags
Jute or twine
Tea or coffee
Brew a STRONG cup of tea or coffee, and soak your flag in the cup until it is as “aged” looking as you want. Wring out the flag, and wrap it around your jar. Wrap with jute, twine, or ribbon to hold the flag in place. Add a battery operated candle and you’re done!
These were the guests’ favors, but they doubled as party decor during the party too!
I hope you have enjoyed all of the DIY’s My Thrifty Sister shared!

Cute! I am thinking these would be great with little battery operated tea lights in them next year!
