[…] summer with this All American shirt from Everyday Party […]
All American Shirt DIY
Summer breezes are already blowing in my area, and I am SO ready for all of the Summer celebrating. Each year I make or buy matching patriotic shirts for our family. I haven’t seen any styles I love yet, so I decided to make a few designs and show the kids to get their input. I decided to make myself several designs, including this darling All American Shirt.
Patriotic Shirt
The boys decided on a fourth of July shirt design, but I just couldn’t not make this shirt for myself. I am an All American through and through, and I just love this firecracker design so much!
Craft Lightning Projects
I am so excited to be a part of this round of Craft Lightning. Craft Lightning Projects are projects that can be made in fifteen minutes or less, not including drying time.
The great thing about making shirts is that they can be done in less than 15 minutes, from start to finish. Customizing shirts, bags, and even home decor is one of my very favorite quick projects. I don’t have the time or patience to spend on long drawn out projects.
Make Your Own Fourth of July Shirt
You will only need a few supplies to make your own patriotic t shirt. And chances are, if you are a crafter, you already have most of what you will need in your craft stash.
Supplies
SVG File {Use code ALLAMERICAN to download it FREE}
Cricut or Silhouette
Step 1
Download the SVG File and upload it to Design Space or Design Studio.
Step 2
Size the cut file to fit your shirt, bag, or sign.
Step 3
Cut and weed the Iron On. {Don’t forget to mirror the cut, and place the Iron On on the cutting mat shiny side down.}
Step 4
Prepare the surface, pre-heat fabric or make sure wood is dry and free of debris. Once the surface is ready for pressing, place the Iron On onto your shirt {or bag or sign} where you want it. Press according to manufacturer’s recommendations. {Follow these directions if you are using a Cricut EasyPress 2}
That’s it, in just a few minutes, you can have fantastic patriotic shirts!
If you like this project, be sure to check out some of these too!
