Play With Your Food – Summer Party Fun
Play With Your Food – Summer Party Fun! Laura Kelly shared a fabulous 4th of July celebration in the Summer 2016 issue of EPM, and I instantly fell in LOVE with her Chinet Plate Tic Tac Toe board, and I asked begged her to send me the simple DIY!
From Laura:
Hey y’all, it’s Laura Kelly here as a guest! It’s like being at a party to share on Everyday Party Magazine blog and I am prettttttty much crushing on this little fun activity I am showing off. With picnic season in full swing, here is a way to entertain the kiddos (of all ages of course)! Create game boards with Chinet’s square appetizer plates using washi tape and then…it is game ON.
To be prepared, have a couple of rolls of tapes and colored candies. I chose red and blue, well because it is Memorial Day this weekend! Shirley Temples with Cherry Man are a great SWEET addition to the festivities too.
Use the tape to create the tic-tac-toe board and then use the candies for playing pieces.
Red WINS!
There is one in every crowd…you know the one who takes it to the next level. Well (sometimes) that is me. FUNNY face plates are a blast. I think it is A-OK to play with your food.
Cheers to creating celebrations for all of the things!!!
XOXO,
Laura Kelly
