Vintage Style Fourth of July Fireworks Stand
We are celebrating Fourth of July at our house again this year. And, now that the kids are older, I bought some more exciting fireworks for them. Don’t worry – we will be using them responsibly. The boys will not use them without an adult. Since I bought a lot more fireworks than normal, I decided I would use our lemonade stand to display them. The lemonade stand got a fun vintage style Fourth of July make over, and I love it!

Decorating the Table
I was sent a box full of adorable Fourth of July party decor and supplies from My Mind’s Eye, and I knew it would be PERFECT for my Fireworks Stand!
When I was planning the fireworks stand in my head, and sketching it out, I knew I wanted to make a classic looking fireworks stand sign. I couldn’t find a design I really loved, so I created my own SVG and made a sign. {find the DIY here} The sign was the perfect addition for our Fourth of July Fireworks Stand!
Since we already had a cute sign, I covered the sign for the stand with darling paper rosettes. I layered the rosettes, and I added a tissue paper tassel banner under them to really make them pop. I also layered banners across the front of the stand.
Display the Fireworks
Once the Fireworks Stand was decorated, it was time to add the fireworks! We went to one of our local fireworks stores and bought lots of fun firecrackers. To keep the vintage feel, I gathered up some of my more vintage looking containers and filled them with all of our goodies for the evening. I filled an apple basket with fountains, a glass cookie jar held sparklers, and a bucket full of rice was perfect for the bottle rockets. I also used some cloth covered tin cans with rice for mini bottle rockets, and a vintage measuring cup for Roman candles.
Fourth of July Snacks
Of course I have to have snacks for the kids too! I attached the most adorable reusable Fourth of July straws and gingham ribbon to glass Coca Cola bottles. We filled some of our left over metal cans with 4th of July M&M’s for quick snacking, and another cookie jar was filled with red, white, and blue fizzy lollipops. Finally, I popped store bought cupcakes into American Flag cupcake wrappers.
We are ready for our new and improved Fourth of July Fireworks display and I can’t wait!
