I have been working all week getting their room guest ready {read clean}, including installing a gorgeous new ceiling fan. I had the opportunity to work with Stile fans, and I cannot say enough good things about them! The fan is enclosed so I don’t have to worry about the boys hitting a fan blade while they sleep on the top bunk. It’s also smaller than a traditional room fan, but far more powerful. And, it.is.so.much.nicer than traditional ceiling fans! The hubs got the fan installed in no time, and the boys are loving the remote control.

Once the new fan was installed, I dressed their beds in holiday plaid bedding from Pottery Barn Kids, and used a few SVG files from the shop to make holiday throw pillows. 

The boys and I decorated their small Christmas tree, and we hung a few holiday signs on the walls. We also added a few of their favorite holiday toys to the room. But, my favorite (non-fan) addition to the room are the two chalkboard signs on their dressers. 

The room is finally guest ready, but I wanted to make sure even our youngest guests feel at home during their stay. We found out what size our little guests are, and picked up comfy jammies that we will customize once everyone arrives. We placed the jammies in a festive basket along with a warm blanket, some hot cocoa and a mug, some small snacks, and a few inexpensive treats. I also included some kids bubble bath, and a new tooth brush. (Because someone always forgets a tooth brush when we travel) 

We can’t wait for all of our holiday guests to arrive!!
